The Body Shop Philippines will be  launching their Honey Bronze Collection this July 2011. Here are just a "sneek-peak" from the collection that includes Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder, Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder and Honey Bronze Lip Nectar.

 Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder which is actually my favorite because it just gives a matte finish and natural look.

 It comes in a cute packaging with honeycomb patterns and it also comes in four shades Medium, Fair, Light and Deep Matte.

Honey Bronze Lip Nectar, I love it's orange-y-peachy color and it's really moisturizing and it last for a very long time.

The top swatch is heavy, the bottom swatch has been blended out.

 

 

Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder, it comes in a brush that makes it more convenient and easy to apply and it gives instant shimmer.

Little trivia:

Honey is my favorite partner for my wheat bread, yummy for "almusal and "merienda"

(breakfast and snack time)

 

 

The most famous "celebrity" who's also a big fan of honey, none other that Winnie the Pooh.

The Body Shop Makeup Competition 2011

This event was held last April 13, 2011 at the Pan Peninsula Hotel Manila.

First the finalist were ask to do their "smudge charts" (a draft for their actual work)

              DJ's Vince and Tracy (Mellow 94.7) were the host of the event.

    You Rock!! Deejay Trinity!!

             The judges were Bambi Dela Cruz,Cherry Pacheco-Uy and Joi Kapunan.

  The competition starts with the application of base makeup.

(finalist were given 30 minutes to do so)

 Next is the application of "colors" to the face.

                     Reese and Vica serenade the night with their acoustic performances.     

        ( i love their rendition of "Fireworks" by Katy Perry)

There was also a "question and answer portion".

 While waiting for the results yummy foods was serve.

Makeup Review 101: Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara

Since I'm not gifted with long lashes, mascara had been my best friend in making my lashes to look nicer and longer. I'm not really a collector of mascara, i mean 1st thing is mascaras dry easily and once I like the quality of it I stick to it. I've been using my Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara quite a while now and this are the things I like about it:
                              - It's easy to use
                              - Doesn't dry too fast that applying a second coat doesn't caused
                                 too much clumping.
                              - Instantly long lashes

The reason why I became "obsessed" with makeup;)

Been watching my favorite Taylor Swift songs on Youtube, suddenly I've seen this "My Makeup Collection and Storage" video as the most popular for the Howto and Style. I got interested and started watching different girls showing their whole bunch of makeup and telling where they bought the storage cases for their makeup (mostly from walmart and ikea). Suddenly I felt envious with how much  makeup this girls have (i know it's bad to feel jealous but watching this kinds of videos 20 times a day?, what can I do?). Not only those makeup collection videos interests me but also those makeup tutorials from achieving natural look to night makeup.

Now I still watched this kinds of videos and I already have my top favorite makeup gurus here they are:

Hello! blog world, actually this is my 2nd attempt to do my own blog page (the first one, i forgot my username and password;). Since this is my 1st post, I want this to be a "getting to know me".
